Tactical Pistol CourseThis course, due to the structure of teaching, serves as either an
introduction to the use of the pistol for beginners or as further
development for students with some operational or previous training
experience in the use of firearms.
The course syllabus includes weapon familiarisation and operation,
stance, drawing and reloading, sighted and instinctive point shooting
and close quarter combat tactics. The second day will include a competitive qualification shoot.
The course is held at our training facilities in the Slovak Republic
which are situated at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains approx. 20
Kilometres from the Country's capital Bratislava. Accommodation is
provided at a quality local historic hotel with breakfast and amenities.
Students will depart from the U.K. and arrive in the Slovak Republic on
Friday afternoon (the 14th). Martin D Cooper Consultants staff will
meet students at Manchester International Airport and accompany course
attendees on the flight. Upon arrival at Bratislava Airport, staff and
students will travel in convoy to the course accommodation for
registration and briefing. The course ends on Monday morning (17th)
when students will be returned to Bratislava Airport for their own
return to the U.K.

Monday, 16 June 2008 -Introduction to Close Protection Course This course is designed to provide an insight into the role and
responsibilities of the Close Protection Officer (Bodyguard).
This is a demanding and challenging course but extremely rewarding;
giving the student a multitude of new skills and abilities that can be
used in everyday life as well as preparing the student for a career in
Close protection.
The course syllabus will include conflict management, threat
assessment, formation drills, vehicle security and escort, tactical
driving, unarmed combat, firearms and communications. There is a ratio
of one instructor to three students on this course.
The course is held at our training facilities in the Slovak Republic
which are situated at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains. Students will arrive in the Slovak Republic on Monday afternoon (the
16th) and be met by Martin D Cooper Consultants staff at Bratislava
Airport. The course ends on
Thursday morning (19th) when students will be transported to Bratislava Airport for return to the U.K.

Tactical Firearms Course (Carbine & Pistol)

carbine/assault rifle.
The course is held at our training facilities in the Slovak Republic
which are situated at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains approx. 20
Kilometres from the Country’s capital Bratislava. Accommodation is
provided at a 4-star hotel with breakfast and amenities which include a
bar, spa-pool and sauna.
Students will arrive in the Slovak Republic on Thursday afternoon (the
14th). The course ends on Monday
morning (18th) when students will be returned to Bratislava Airport for
their own return to the U.K.
