The Annual General Meeting of Monmouth & District Rifle Club will be held at 8.00pm on Wednesday, 12th November 2008 in The Robin Hood Public House, Monnow Street, Monmouth.

Please make every effort to attend and for those unfamiliar with the premises The Robin Hood is at the bottom of Monnow Street with ample Car Parking close by. Apologies for absence should be sent to the secretary at least 7 days prior to the meeting. While the agenda has not yet been set, any proposals for the agenda should be submitted at least 7 days prior to the meeting, some proposals have already been received.

HOG ROAST AND CENTENARY BBQ

We were intending to hold a hog roast/bbq as part of the club centenary celebrations but for various reasons this event has had to be delayed until next year, which incidentally is the centenary of the year when the club actually started shooting. It is now proposed that this event combined with a clay pigeon shoot will now take place in April/May of 2009.

Shooting Register.
All members are reminded that it is their responsibility to complete an entry in the shooting register at the end of each visit to the range. They should also remember that all visits to the range for whatever reason must be recorded in the diary.

M.O.D. Ranges

From the first of January next year shooters will require a certificate of competence signed by the club's Chairman in order to shoot on M.O.D. ranges.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
